Your Neighborhood Golf Course

Fun For the Serious golfer and the whole family

Shady Oaks is an outstanding facility in a town of 1,600 residents. In 1969 Leon Howard and Dave Bennett built this course, and a new nine was added in 1992. Over the years water hazards, trees, and subtle mounding have been incorporated into the layout to make it more difficult. This is a great-looking course that continues to improve thanks to the constant work of the course staff.

What people have to say about shady oaks

Beautiful golf course close to Clyde and Abilene. Guaranteed good time. People nice, something to eat, drinks, laid back, open to everyone.
Very well manicured for a small city course. Greens were super soft, well-maintained, and deceptively fast at times. Very friendly small-town atmosphere. Great bang for the buck compared to a municipal course of similar price and less refinement. I don't mind making the drive out here once a week to play.
